🎬 Agent Native Video Editor

Cut, scene

Available Domain: Agentcut.ai

👤 Source: Riley Brown (YouTuber, Educator, and Founder of Chorus) believes that someone could build a $1B business using this idea.

Problem:

  • We’ve entered the super app era of software. Codex, Cursor, Claude Code - all of these apps are getting more and more powerful by the day. More and more work is getting done fully inside these apps. So why not video editing?

  • Well, Riley Brown believes that someone who builds a full video editor that connects to these super apps will build a billion-dollar business. Here’s the idea.

Solution:

  • A video editor that's native to Codex, Claude Code and Cursor - not a standalone app with an AI side panel, but an editing layer the agent drives directly.

  • Your whole edit lives as a plain, diffable project file the agent reads and rewrites on command ("tighten the intro, drop the b-roll over the demo, duck the music under my voice").

  • Ship it as one MCP server every agent can call, with persistent memory of your intro, captions, brand colours and pacing. Same protocol everywhere, quietly becoming the default video layer for the whole agent ecosystem.

🧑‍💻 Prototyping: Google AI Studio Demo | Remix this Build

💡 The Half Baked Take: This is already a pretty competitive space (OpenAI-backed Descript is valued at c.$550m) and is only going to get more competitive. This window is shutting fast, so speed is of the essence with this idea.

🧑‍💻 Skip the $74K Legal Entity. Here’s How Remote Hires Talent Abroad the Easy Way.

They're based in Brazil, and the instinct is to set up a local entity to hire them. That's $74K, months of legal work, and a compliance burden that never goes away - before their first day.

How Remote gets them working next week:

  • As your employer of record, Remote becomes the legal employer in 180+ countries, so you skip the entity entirely

  • Compliant contracts, local payroll, and benefits handled from one platform

  • Onboard in days, not the quarter it takes to stand up an entity

The hire was the hard part. The paperwork shouldn't be.

Fuel for Taking Action

⚒️ Founder Tutorial: How to Spin Up Thousands of UGC Videos in Minutes

  1. Head to usefastlane.ai, drop in your website URL, and let it learn your product, tone, and audience. It spits back ready-to-post videos you swipe through like Tinder, then schedules the keepers straight to TikTok, Reels and Shorts.

  2. Honestly, the launch video does a better job of selling it than we ever could. Watch the one-click demo, then go break it with your own URL.

🆓 Playbook: Ruben Hassid just dropped the Claude Code bible (for people who never code).

🤑 Money Shot: This founder used a tiny podcast to build a +$100M business. Here's how.

🎁 The $80M Vibe Coding Tool Now Builds AI Agents

Base44 went from side project to an $80M Wix acquisition in six months, with 250,000 founders building apps from plain English. Now it does the same for AI agents.

Tell a Superagent to triage your inbox overnight, chase every new lead, or send a Monday metrics digest, and it builds the workflow, connects your tools and runs it 24/7.

A teammate taking real action.

🔍️ Everything Else from Today

🛠️ AI Tool: IdeaApe turns Reddit's chaos into actual market research, motivations, barriers and willingness to pay, straight from the source. Very handy.

📚 Must-Read: These 11 startups stood out at YC’s latest Demo Day, they’re the best of the best. Super interesting to see what people are working on.

✖️ Trending Tweet: Brian Armstrong’s tweet on excessive regulation really struck a chord with a lot of people.

🧬 Science Corner: Two Stanford grads raised $11.6m to build a non-invasive wearable that tracks hormones in real time. Very sci-fi, very cool.
