🎬 AI B-Roll Librarian
On a Roll
👤 Source: Jay Yang again (told you he sent a list). As a content strategist who's run social for Hormozi and Noah Kagan, he knows this area well.
❌ Problem:
Everyone and their mum is a content creator now, and the biggest editing time-sink isn't shooting content anymore - it's finding good b-roll. Creators capture tonnes of images and videos, perfect for b-roll, but it’s all scattered across devices, accounts and is unsearchable.
Today though, video understanding models are cheap enough to actually watch every clip you've ever shot and analyze it. Here's the idea.
✅ Solution:
Connect your Google Photos or camera roll and the AI watches everything, auto-tagging shot type, subject, location and mood - turning ten years of random footage into searchable b-roll folders ("golden hour walking", "hands typing", "coffee pour").
Paste in your script and it pulls matching clips from your own library, exporting straight into CapCut, Premiere or Final Cut.
Over time it learns your content style and flags gaps - "you have zero transition shots, here's a 10-minute shot list for your next walk."
🧑💻 Prototyping: Google AI Studio Demo | Remix this Build
💡 The Half Baked Take: Interesting idea for a pretty niche audience. I wonder could users license their b-roll footage to other creators marketplace style and earn money from their own footage? Just a thought…
